What does your Listal screen name mean?

Just curious, as I've seen a lot of different screen names on here and wondered what some of them meant/stood for. As I'm still fairly new and don't know a lot of you, this is a good way to see what some of you are "about". :) For instance, Prelude: do you drive a Honda Prelude? Grand Assault sounds like a video game. And PvtCaboose, all I can come up with is something dirty... As for mine, 350125 GO is a reference to Joy Division, the song "Warsaw" specifically. I use this screen name and variations of it on other websites as well. Rarely does anyone "get" it unless they're rather familiar with Joy Division; otherwise they just think it's a random string of numbers and that it's quite odd. ;)

Basically, a bunch of guys have filmed stuff from Halo and put their own voices to create their own situations. One of the characters is named Private Michael J. Caboose. Shortened down, it becomes Pvt Caboose and he's my favourite character. Then the '91' is drawn from my year of birth, 1991.

So then I started going online more and gaming I just thought use UberGamerGeek and it's kinda changed over time and just shorten it to Uber sometimes.

When I set up my first online email, I had to come up with something, and it was the first thing that came to mind. I've been using it ever since.

Unless you've got one like "babygurl2008" or some other such nonsense, and even then that speaks volumes about what kind of a person that name represents... ;) Keep 'em coming!

I happen to have a penchant for wearing tartan clothing (including shoes which are now dead) and when I had to come up with a name years ago it seemed appropriate. (Tartan_trousers seemed a little too long winded.) That and I'm Scottish and female, so it seems fitting really.

It's both a concept and a meditation practice (metta bhavana) in Buddhism. Though I'm a Taoist rather than Buddhist, I had my first name legally changed to Metta last year to mark severing ties with a bad family situation and in hope of being always reminded of the value of practicing compassion.

I liked the novels so much that I later purchased the follow-up trilogy called The Renshai Chronicles. The renshai are a race of barbarians who are murdered to near extinction and were known as master swordsmen that fight with two swords and no armor. I enjoyed the stories so much that I became a fan......obviously.

I don't even really like Massive Attack all that much. It also coincides with a game: Brahma Force: Assault on Beltlogger 9, which I once saw in a PSone magazine and instantly committed to memory thanks to it being the worst game name I've ever seen.

I went home and made library cards for my little golden books. I now own over 2000 books. I feel like I ride them, like a wind of soaring information dancing and swirling about bringing me joy and excitement. Thus the name. I think your question is great. Simply Laid Back Playz. One verse of lyrical brillance went "...right to the left I dip/Call me Mr. Lays cause I'm all about my chips!" The verse was so funny that I had to take the Mr. Lays name.
